Privacy Notice

How StatimPay collects, uses and protects personal data through this website.

Last updated: 14 October 2026

1. Who we are

This notice explains how Statimpay Ltd (company number 16390579), registered at 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF ("StatimPay", "we", "us"), handles personal data collected through this website. We are the controller of that data.

It covers this website and our contact and pilot enquiry forms. It does not cover the StatimPay app or our service to employers, which have their own privacy information. Section 10 explains our role when an employer sends us its employees' details.

2. What we collect

Through this website we collect:

  • Contact and enquiry details you give us: name, work email, company, role, phone number, the type of enquiry, and anything you write in a message field.
  • Pilot qualification details you give us: number of sites, hourly-paid headcount, pay frequency, payroll provider, how you record hours, and your indicative timeline.
  • Analytics data, but only if you accept analytics cookies: pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, how you arrived at the site, and recordings of how you use our pages (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) made by Microsoft Clarity.
  • Technical data needed to serve the site securely: your IP address in our hosting provider's server logs, and held briefly in memory when you submit a form, so we can limit repeated submissions (see section 7).

We do not collect special category data through this website, and you should not send it to us in a message field.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss whether our product suits your business: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
  • To keep a record of enquiries and our correspondence: our legitimate interest in running and evidencing our business.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it: your consent, given through the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse of our forms: our legitimate interest in protecting our systems.
  • To meet legal or regulatory obligations where they apply to us.

We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.

4. Marketing

If you send us an enquiry, we may follow up about StatimPay by email. Every marketing email we send will tell you how to stop receiving them, and you can ask us to stop at any time by emailing us. We do not pass your details to other organisations for their marketing.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it with a small number of service providers who process it on our instructions:

  • Vercel Inc.: website hosting and server logs.
  • Resend: delivery of the emails generated by our contact and pilot forms.
  • Google LLC (Google Analytics): website analytics, only where you have accepted analytics cookies.
  • Microsoft Corporation (Clarity): website usage analytics and session recordings, only where you have accepted analytics cookies.

We have linked Microsoft Clarity to Google Analytics, so the link to a Clarity session recording is attached to the matching visit in Google Analytics. Both only run if you have accepted analytics cookies.

Where our earned wage access product makes a payment, that payment is executed by an FCA-authorised e-money institution acting as a separate controller for the payment itself. We disclose that provider to prospective customers under a confidentiality agreement.

We may also disclose personal data where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with any additional safeguards required.

7. How we keep it secure

This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Enquiries are sent to us by email through our email provider and are seen only by the people at StatimPay who handle them. Our service providers process personal data under contract and only on our instructions. To protect our forms from abuse, we keep the IP address of anyone submitting a form in our server's memory so we can limit repeated submissions. Each entry stops counting after 10 minutes and is cleared the next time a form is submitted, or when the server restarts. This is separate from our hosting provider's server logs, which section 8 covers.

No method of sending or storing data is completely secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach that is likely to put your rights at risk, we will tell you and the Information Commissioner's Office where the law requires us to.

8. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a commercial relationship: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. This includes the copies of enquiry emails held by our email provider.
  • Enquiries that do lead to a commercial relationship: for the life of that relationship and then as set out in our customer agreement.
  • Analytics data: retained under the settings of the analytics provider, for up to 14 months. The analytics cookies themselves may remain on your device for longer; see our Cookie Notice.
  • Server logs: up to 30 days.

9. If you do not give us your details

You do not have to give us any personal data to browse this website. Our forms mark the details we need to reply; if you leave them out, we may not be able to respond to your enquiry.

10. When an employer sends us its employees' details

When an employer uses StatimPay, it may send us details about its employees, such as names, contact details and approved hours, so that they can be offered access to earned wages. For that data we act as the employer's processor, under our agreement with them, and the employer's own privacy notice applies.

If you are one of those employees and want to exercise your rights over data your employer has provided to us, please contact your employer first. When you use the StatimPay app, the app's own privacy information explains how we handle your data there.

11. Cookies

We only set analytics cookies if you accept them. Our Cookie Notice lists every cookie this site uses, what it does and how long it lasts, and explains how to change your choice.

13. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; for analytics cookies, use the Cookie preferences link in the footer.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@statimpay.com. We will respond within one month.

14. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
