From imported hours to settled payroll

You control the hours that count, the rules that apply, and the account every payment leaves from. Here is the whole of it.

What you see

Finance and HR run everything from the StatimPay web portal.

The rules, set once
Your access cap, your withdrawal limits and your payroll-block window. Change them when your operating model changes, not every period.
Your float, and what is against it
Low-balance alerts warn you when the account falls below a level you set, before it runs short. You are never guessing at your exposure between pay runs.
One report at period close
A consolidated deduction report, ready to enter in the payroll you already run. No reconciliation spreadsheet, and no line-by-line chasing.

What your team sees

Employees only ever see what your imported hours have made available, and always see the cost before they confirm.

A real balance, not an estimate
Built from the hours you submitted. They cannot see, or take, more than you sent us, which is what keeps this out of payroll-variance territory.
The cost, before they commit
£1.80 flat, and the exact amount that will land in their account, both shown before they confirm. No interest. No variable rates. A flat fee only.
No effect on their credit score
No credit check to use it, and no effect on their credit score. For a lot of hourly staff that is the difference between using it and not.

How the money moves

Out of your account, over regulated rails, into your employee’s bank.

CSV or API
How hours arrive
Hours become an available balance once each upload or API update is processed.
Faster Payments
How funds are sent
Once a request passes the rules, the money is sent to the employee's bank account by UK Faster Payments.
0%
Interest charged
£1.80 flat per withdrawal, paid by the employee. No interest. No variable rates. A flat fee only.

Withdrawals are paid from your float, an account you fund ahead of time. StatimPay is not a lender, and none of the money paid out is its own. Payments are processed via an FCA-authorised e-money institution. Funds are sent over UK Faster Payments.

How it reconciles

The part your payroll team actually does, once a period, from one report.

One file, once a period

At the end of each pay period StatimPay issues a consolidated deduction report, in the portal and as an export. You deduct the withdrawal and its fee in your own payroll, then remit the fees to StatimPay.

Your provider, unchanged

StatimPay does not file or process your pay run. We hand you a report to enter, and you keep the payroll provider and rota system you already use.

Settled through payroll

The withdrawn amount returns to your float when it is settled through payroll.

Tell us how you run

StatimPay EWA is pre-launch. We are recruiting a small group of pilot employers. We will be straight with you about whether a pilot makes sense yet.
